Job Title: Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate at the law firm will be responsible for providing legal services to technology and life sciences companies at various stages of development, ranging from early start-ups to global publicly traded corporations. The associate will work within one of the premier technology mergers and acquisitions practices globally. The primary responsibilities will include:

- Handling mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including significant acquisition programs for serial acquirers and strategic exits for prominent unicorns.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
- Managing and executing M&A deals from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating M&A-related documents.
- Advising clients on legal risks and strategies related to M&A activities.
- Working closely with other attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions and mitigate potential legal issues.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate position must meet the following education and experience requirements:

- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized law school with superior academic credentials.
- 3-5 years of substantial M&A experience at a leading corporate law firm.
- Active Bar membership in the jurisdiction where the candidate will work, or eligibility to sit for or waive into the next bar exam.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with or an affinity for technology and/or life sciences companies is considered a positive attribute.

Salary Information:
The anticipated salary range for the Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate position at the law firm is $260,000 - $310,000. The actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors, including the individual applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location from which the applicant will be performing the job.

In addition to the base salary, a discretionary bonus for eligible employees may be available based on performance. Further information about employee eligibility for benefits and the discretionary bonus will be provided upon request.
