Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft various legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, motions, orders, and notices.
- Schedule and maintain case calendars to ensure all deadlines and court dates are met.
- Conduct research on complex legal issues using research databases such as Westlaw or Lexis Nexis.
- Investigate legal matters through fact-checking, conducting witness interviews, and summarizing findings.
- Manage document production and trial preparation, including creating notebooks, exhibits, and performing case law cite checks.
- File pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with the court.
- Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and other relevant documents to assist in case preparation.
