Client Intake Specialist
Job Responsibilities
The Client Intake Specialist is responsible for managing the intake process within the law firm, ensuring the organization and tracking of new client data, and processing new matter memos. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting conflict checks for new clients for attorneys in the local office
- Receiving and organizing case documents and correspondence required for the new matter process
- Creating litigation hold letters for attorney approval if the new client is a litigation matter
- Processing new matter memos for the local office and entering them into the Aderant software application
- Verifying correct rates for clients by reviewing matter descriptions and practice areas
- Reviewing and confirming client billing addresses, contact information, and adjuster contact information, if applicable
- Assigning new client matter numbers and uploading new matter memos and respective documents to iManage
Education and Experience Information
- Experience with LawTime, Aderant, or equivalent accounting software is preferred
- One to two years of experience in a legal/law firm environment is preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications

Salary Information
Minimum Salary: USD $55, per year
Maximum Salary: USD $60, per year
