As a Lateral Recruiting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the firm's recruitment efforts for our New York office. You will work closely with the Associate Director of Lateral Recruiting and collaborate with practice groups and leaders to attract top talent to the firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and prestigious law firm and make a significant impact on our recruitment strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Support lateral associate and counsel hiring for the New York office, as well as full-time associate hiring
- Develop innovative strategies to identify, attract, and hire top talent
- Cultivate relationships with legal search firms and promote the firm's talent brand
- Draft position descriptions and share them internally and externally
- Manage candidate submissions and resumes, ensuring appropriate circulation and providing and obtaining feedback
- Coordinate the interview process and facilitate decision-making, including drafting offer letters
- Gather pre-hire information and assist with pre-employment screenings and assessments
- Maintain recruitment-related spreadsheets and track relevant information
- Manage recruitment and placement invoices
- Analyze recruiting data and results and communicate status to firm management
- Collaborate with Legal Recruiting staff in other offices to promote firm-wide recruiting efforts
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Take on special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

- required
- Minimum of 4 years of previous law firm experience, with legal recruiting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and think strategically
- Strong ability to interact with all levels of firm personnel and management
- Team-oriented and able to share information and collaborate effectively
- Attention to detail and excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a professional manner

This position will require regular physical presence at **Members Only**'s offices in New York, with a minimum of 3 days per week. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000, but the actual salary offered will depend on various factors such as qualifications, experience, education, and location.
