Job Title: Software Engineer - Legal Prompt Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate experiences driven by Large Language Models (LLMs) that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain code that interfaces with cutting-edge LLMs.
- Write, test, and refine prose prompts leveraging legal domain knowledge to ensure the delivery of accurate and legally sound responses.
- Develop code that interacts with various data sources and services, including APIs and SQL databases.
- Collaborate with legal professionals and internal teams to gather and understand requirements.
- Integrate language models into multi-step systems, assess their performance, and make necessary modifications to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should have legal domain expertise, which may include experience in legal practice, holding a Juris Doctor (JD) in a non-traditional career path, or having experience in paralegal or legal industry roles.
- A minimum of 3–4 years of production-level software engineering experience is required, ideally gained in engineering or product teams at startups.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, , Python, or other relevant languages.
- Experience in working with APIs and SQL databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative writing skills.
- Hands-on experience in coding with large language models like OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Llama, or Mistral.

Salary Information:
- For eligible . locations, the base compensation range for this role is between $70,000 and $130,000, varying based on factors like an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
- This role may also qualify for an annual bonus determined by a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
