Corporate Counsel - McLean, VA - Full-Time - Senior Manager/Supervisor
Pixalate is a leading provider of fraud protection, privacy, and compliance analytics for Connected TV, Mobile Apps, and Websites. We have been used to uncover multiple high profile criminal and illegal surveillance cases, making us a trusted name in the industry. We are looking for a Corporate Counsel to join our fast-growing team in McLean, VA and help us accelerate our growth in a cost-effective and legally-compliant manner.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preparation and filing of annual financial returns, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, R&D tax credit applications, and service provider utilization disclosures
- Establish and maintain e-room repositories for corporate governance documentation
- Understand and negotiate contracts law, including subscription agreements for SAAS businesses
- Identify and leverage governmental incentives to improve corporate financial performance
- Project management for the incorporation of international affiliates and subsidiaries
- Draft inter-company agreements and written board resolutions for international entities
- Familiarity with OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and share award schemes
- Experience with GAAP audits and/or investor due diligence
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Affairs, or Management
- At least 4 years of professional legal experience in addition to a legal education
- Familiarity with global information security and privacy laws
- Startup and SAAS experience preferred
