Job Overview:

A national full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic team in California. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex litigation matters, including general liability, product liability, construction defect, and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of litigation experience and a proven ability to handle all phases of discovery and litigation while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Manage various litigation cases, including general liability, product liability, construction defect, and civil litigation matters.
  • Conduct all phases of discovery, including written discovery and depositions of parties and experts.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and solutions.
  • Maintain an efficient case management system and update clients regularly.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in litigation.
  • Strong background in managing complex litigation matters.
  • Experience with all phases of discovery, including depositions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Admitted to practice law in California.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation experience, including discovery and trial preparation.
  • Proficiency in Westlaw or similar legal research tools.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Client relationship management.
