Duties

  • Draft and negotiate a variety of technology-related agreements, including licensing, SaaS, and commercial contracts

  • Provide counsel on intellectual property and data privacy issues

  • Support mergers and acquisitions, particularly in areas involving technology and IP

  • Handle matters at varying stages from inception through resolution

  • Deliver high-quality work product and meet required billable hour thresholds

  • Offer responsive, client-focused legal service

  • Demonstrate initiative in managing projects independently

  • Utilize support staff and junior attorneys for workflow optimization

  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards in legal practice

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with technology transactions or related commercial legal work

  • Prior involvement in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated corporate and commercial contracts

  • Familiarity with data privacy frameworks and SaaS business models

  • Ability to handle multiple legal matters with strategic oversight

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Track record of productive, self-directed work and professional growth

  • Prior experience at a law firm preferred

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more . jurisdictions where the firm operates

  • Must maintain CLE compliance and active licensure
