Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and/or operating partnerships
- Participate in accounting for income taxes and tax provisions
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experiences to clients
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Manage teams and participate in market and business activities
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:
- Manage risk and financial performance of engagements
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the KPMG tax practice
- Mentor and counsel staff/senior level team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and relevant credentials (CPA, EA, JD/LLM)
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and experience with corporate taxation and consolidations
- Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and teams
Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager:
- Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
- Experience mentoring and counseling staff/senior level team members
