Law firm **Members Only** is seeking a Research Specialist to join their team in various offices such as Los Angeles, New York, and Washington . This is a full-time position with a deadline to apply of October 15, 2025.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a research professional in a law firm, academic law library, or corporate research function. They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume Big Law environment.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver legal and business research services in response to requests from lawyers and administrative staff
- Conduct reference interviews to confirm scope and delivery requirements
- Utilize strong knowledge of research and intelligence resources to deliver work product in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Participate in evaluation and implementation of potential research and intelligence solutions
- Maintain collaborative relationships with vendors
- Assist with onboarding, training, and offboarding of lawyers and business professionals

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a research professional in a law firm, academic law library, or corporate research function
- Knowledge of American law, legislative process and history, and complex litigation and business research topics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and escalate issues as needed
- Emotional intelligence and professionalism consistent with the firm's performance culture

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

Computer/Software Knowledge:
- Competent with legal and business research tools such as Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg, and more
- Competent with MS Office products, MS Teams, and other communication and collaboration tools
- Familiarity with AI-related technologies is preferred

Work Environment:
- Hybrid work policy with a minimum of 3 days in the office and the rest of the week working from home
- Overtime may be required as job duties demand

Travel Requirements:
- Less than 10% travel
