Manager, Transfer Pricing
Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager in Transfer Pricing, you will be responsible for providing clients with the critical knowledge needed to effectively manage intercompany pricing issues. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including economists, tax attorneys, business professionals, and tax specialists, to analyze and resolve international transfer pricing challenges for multinational enterprises across various industries. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising assignments of engagement staff, providing leadership, counseling, and training to Consultants and Senior Consultants.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses and the broader industry landscape.
- Managing and overseeing detailed economic and financial analyses, as well as complex modeling and empirical analyses.
- Assisting in drafting proposals, document requests, reports, client presentations, and other client materials.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or . in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in Transfer Pricing within a consulting environment is mandatory.
- Prior supervisory experience is necessary.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on work requirements and client needs.
- One of the following active accreditations is required:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or . in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Public Policy, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent (Master’s or . preferred)
- Other: foreign equivalent of the above
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience with a Big 4 firm, transfer pricing, or financial experience.
- A strong understanding of transfer pricing principles, theory, and interpretation.
- Strong project management, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate for this role is $103,320 to $235,170. Compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Additionally, there may be eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, which is subject to rules governing the program and depends on individual and organizational performance.
