Job Title: Case Manager in Training
Job Responsibilities:
- Shadow Case Managers to gain hands-on experience.
- Order medical records from providers as part of case preparation.
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble supporting documents for submission to carriers.
- Investigate the nature and facts of cases to build strong support for clients.
- Learn to negotiate deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers to maximize client settlements.
- Prepare documents and correspondence necessary for reaching settlements in each case.
Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Insurance Adjuster, or in a Support Role is preferred, particularly within a law firm setting or corporate legal department.
- Candidates must be highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, including good presentation skills.
- A willingness to learn and collaborate with multiple employees within the organization is necessary.
- Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute is required.
Salary Information:
- Compensation for this role starts at $23 per hour.
