A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join its Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing. Duties:
Handle complex commercial real estate transactions
Draft and negotiate documentation related to acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing
Conduct due diligence reviews and title/survey analysis
Collaborate with clients, partners, and opposing counsel on deal structuring
Manage multiple transactions simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant real estate law experience
Demonstrated experience in handling commercial transactions from inception to closing
Strong work ethic and ability to operate independently and as part of a team
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the Illinois Bar (must be in good standing or eligible for admission on motion)
Skills:
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex real estate agreements
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of matters with minimal supervision
Strong client service and interpersonal skills
