Overview:
The cyber team at Kennedys handles nationwide litigation defense and 24/7/365 breach response services. They also work closely with the global cyber team, which covers almost 25 jurisdictions. This position is based in any of the firm's US offices and encourages global collaboration. The ideal litigation candidate will have experience in proposing litigation strategy, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and participating in mediations and trials. The role may also involve cyber incident response work, including crisis management, regulatory issues, and advising clients on data risk and privacy issues. The ideal incident response attorney will have experience in these areas.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and propose litigation strategy
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
- Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Argue motions
- Participate in mediations and trials
- Provide cyber incident response services, including crisis management and regulatory issues
- Advise clients on data risk and privacy issues

Requirements:
- At least 3-6 years of relevant experience for litigation candidates
- 2-4 years of relevant experience for incident response attorneys
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar where the position is located
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
