Job Summary:
The **Members Only**’s Office is seeking dedicated and experienced Assistant Attorney Generals to join their team and perform complex legal work for the State of Arizona. This full-time position involves providing legal advice, counsel, and representing the State’s interest in various legal matters.

Responsibilities:
• Provide legal representation in complex cases in State and Federal court
• Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and memoranda
• Investigate, interview clients, review evidence, conduct legal research, and prepare for trial
• Respond to inquiries from law enforcement and the general public
• Attend meetings and trainings as necessary

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable statutes, case law, and court rules
• Skilled in persuasive oral and written communication
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, and direct complex investigations and cases
• Knowledge of ethical standards applicable to lawyers and public employees
• Ability to identify issues, analyze and articulate legal arguments, and assess evidence
• Skilled in interpersonal relationships and collaboration with various agencies and personnel
• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving methods
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and effectively utilize subordinate staff
• Ability to display professional and ethical behavior
• Ability to exercise good judgment in making strategic decisions and providing legal advice

Pre-Employment Requirements:
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License and consent for periodic driving record checks
• Active Arizona State Bar license
• Submission of a writing sample with application
• Fingerprinting and criminal background check
