DLA Piper is seeking a highly motivated and experienced structured finance of counsel to join our finance group. This is a full-time position available in our Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC offices. As an of counsel, you will have the opportunity to work with a top-tier team of lawyers on complex and sophisticated matters in the structured finance, securitization, and CLO space. This is a great opportunity for someone with a minimum of 9 years of experience in structured finance and a strong understanding of the industry to join a dynamic and collaborative team at a top AmLaw 100 law firm.

Responsibilities of the Structured Finance Of Counsel include:

• Working closely with the finance group and other practice groups to provide legal advice and support on a wide range of structured finance transactions, including securitizations and CLOs.

• Conducting legal research and analysis to support client matters.

• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, such as offering documents, credit agreements, indentures, and other related documents.

• Assisting with due diligence and transaction management.

• Collaborating with clients and other parties to ensure successful completion of transactions.

• Mentoring and supervising junior associates and staff.

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and/or CLOs at a top AmLaw 100 law firm.

• Strong analytical and writing skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
