Tax M&A Senior Associate
Job Summary:
The Tax M&A Senior Associate position at **Members Only** offers the unique opportunity to work with a top accounting firm while maintaining a family-like work atmosphere. Responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with clients and colleagues
• Understand client needs and risks
• Communicate effectively with clients and seek feedback
• Demonstrate expertise in tax law and analytical tools
• Work with large data sets to provide insights to clients
• Review technical research memorandums
• Apply relevant tax law to clients and situations
• Collaborate with other tax department teams to assist clients before, during, and after transactions
• Contribute new ideas and maintain open communication with team
• Represent the goals of the firm internally and externally
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree required, Master’s preferred
• CPA or JD preferred
• 2+ years of M&A tax experience required, preferably with a Big Four, National, or Regional firm
• Knowledge of Federal and State income tax laws required
• Strong skills in tax research and writing preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commitment to professional and client service excellence
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
Salary Information:
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Experience Information:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in M&A tax, preferably with a Big Four, National, or Regional firm. Knowledge of Federal and State income tax laws is also required for this position.
