Summary:
The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Tax Senior at Moss Adams is responsible for providing tax consulting services to clients in a variety of industries, including buy-side and sell-side transactions. This full-time position is available in multiple locations, including Seattle, WA, Pasadena, CA, New York, NY, and more. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a master's degree in taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred. A CPA or licensed attorney is also preferred, along with a minimum of 2 years of related experience. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and the compensation range varies by state and location.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Managers and Partners in managing client engagements, conducting financial due diligence, and providing tax consulting services
- Work directly with client leaders, private equity firms, and investment banks to perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence and other M&A tax activities
- Analyze complex business and transaction situations and prepare findings
- Build relationships with existing clients and participate in networking and business development activities
- Provide leadership and supervision to staff members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required
- Master's degree in taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred
- CPA or licensed attorney preferred; if not licensed, must meet educational requirements to obtain license in state of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably with a public accounting or law firm
- Experience in tax due diligence and M&A tax consulting preferred
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously and learn new business quickly
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
