Job Title: Insurance Recovery Associate Attorney - Junior to Midlevel
Job Responsibilities:
The Insurance Recovery Associate Attorney will be part of the Insurance Recovery practice within the law firm. This practice is recognized for enforcing policyholders' rights to coverage under a wide array of commercial insurance policies, addressing various types of losses and liabilities. The attorney will be involved in handling some of the largest policyholder cases in the nation, contributing to a busy caseload. Specific responsibilities include:
- Advocating for policyholders in disputes over insurance coverage.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex insurance policies and legal documentation.
- Collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys to develop case strategies.
- Representing clients in negotiations and possibly in court proceedings.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents such as briefs, memos, and pleadings.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- At least two years of insurance policyholder experience at an AmLaw 200 law firm or a policyholder boutique.
- Alternatively, one year of insurance policyholder experience combined with federal judicial clerkship experience is acceptable.
- Excellent academic credentials, including graduation from a top-tier law school, are required.
- Candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample when applying.
Salary Information:
The position offers a competitive compensation range between $210,000 and $390,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience. Additionally, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
