Job Title: IT Infrastructure Administrator (Server and Storage)
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the lifecycle management of the law firm's Server & Storage portfolio, ensuring a stable, secure, and scalable technology experience.
- Oversees ongoing data center operations and the maintenance of the law firm's infrastructure estate, collaborating with third-party providers, contractors, and resources as required.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive infrastructure documentation, including system configurations and operational procedures.
- Assists with broader Infrastructure functional objectives as necessary.
- Actively monitors, diagnoses, and optimizes infrastructure performance, integrity, and security to ensure high levels of availability.
- Provides advanced technical support for the law firm's on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure environments, including Tier 3 technical support in a 24x7 setting.
- Plans and supports system maintenance updates and patches on all cloud-based and on-premises enterprise servers and systems, such as Windows servers.
- Deploys, manages, and supports networking aspects of Microsoft and other third-party applications, including System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Recommends, schedules, and performs ongoing maintenance and support activities, such as infrastructure security audits, upgrades, reconfigurations, and routine system backups and restores.
- Anticipates, mitigates, troubleshoots, and resolves issues across the infrastructure stack, focusing on preserving a gold-standard end-user computing experience.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party providers.
- Supports the development, documentation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
- Upholds high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity, particularly concerning sensitive and/or confidential firm and client information.
Education and Experience Information:
- Preferred technical certifications, such as MSCE.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in a large law firm setting, a comparable professional services organization, or a legal information services provider.
- Demonstrated experience managing the system lifecycle for global infrastructure solutions and capabilities.
- Experience with scripting languages like Powershell.
- Experience with on-premise backup solutions, such as Commvault.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and capabilities.
- Experience working with identity and access management technologies and solutions, including Azure, MS Defender, and Active Directory.
- Experience in network and system administration, including operating system configuration and account management best practices.
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and processing information.

Salary Information:
- Salary range: $89,000 - $125,500.
- Candidates hired for staff positions with a minimum work schedule of 30 hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare insurance.
