Duties

  • Provide legal advice on commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing

  • Collaborate with developers, investors, lenders, and commercial tenants to achieve client objectives

  • Conduct due diligence, including title review, survey analysis, and environmental assessments

  • Ensure compliance with real estate, title, and zoning laws and regulations

  • Manage and cultivate client relationships to promote trust and business development

Requirements

  • Five to ten years of experience in commercial real estate law

  • In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, transactions, development, and financing

  • Familiarity with land use and zoning compliance

  • Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Nebraska

  • Strong focus on client service and responsiveness

  • Ability to produce high-quality, accurate legal work efficiently

  • Effective communication skills for complex legal concepts

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively

  • Demonstrated initiative and responsibility in handling cases

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active or eligible Nebraska State Bar membership
