Legal Assistant The candidate will be drafting correspondence, editing and filing pleadings with State and Federal courts, scheduling depositions, file maintenance, travel arrangements, research, expense reports, time entry and maintaining attorney calendars. Should have a very strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures, including Virginia counties, excellent computer skills with knowledge of Excel and MS Office 2010/2016, including Outlook; experience with Adobe Acrobat and Juris is a plus; excellent oral and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail. Exceptional organizational skills. Must have 3+ years of experience and must be familiar with government contracts, commercial litigation, and insurance defense litigation.
