Paralegal The candidate will update Officer/Dirctor/Members charts, quarterly FAS-5 reporting and other intercompany reports, maintaining legal hard copy and electronic department files, assuring compliance with retention schedules, maintaining organizational entity structure chart, preparing and filing company annual reports and license renewals. Will provide support for litigation, including discovery process and collection, managing the Legal Hold software, docket tracking for any new litigation and updating various litigation charts. Notice departing employees as custodians of a legal hold and maintain chart regarding departing employee notices. Support business objectives such as mergers, acquisitions, and other business initiatives, including support of project collaboration databases and team rooms. Support closing of major transactions, e.g., corporate governance documents. Conduct searches as requested by attorneys, manage GC office mailbox and distributing email to appropriate persons. Provide support of special projects as needed. Must have a Bachelors degree. Should have 5 - 7 years of experience. Must have BA/BS degree and paralegal certificate and training with 5+ years of relevant experience. Previous experience operating in a parent-subsidiary operating environment a plus. Pharmaceutical or Biotech experience is preferred. Must be proficient in MS office applications, database administration and tracking systems. Notary Public required or able to obtain.
