Corporate Paralegal Duties: Work closely with in-house counsel and business owners in contract drafting, reviewing, negotiation and execution of commercial and corporate agreements. Review, draft and analyze contract terms and conditions and assist with ongoing contract administration. Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, case law, legal articles, and other regulatory sources. Prepare and compile memorandums and other legal documents and provide general litigation support in pending corporate legal matters. Maintain organizational documents (i.e. corporate minute books, registrations, etc.) Assist in preparing documents for real estate transactions including leases, acquisitions and dispositions. Investigate facts and laws to determine basis for causes of action in the areas of intellectual property, product liability and general commercial litigation. Assist with labor and employment investigations and hearings.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 4-year degree from an accredited institution. Paralegal certificate required. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to maintain and exercise discretion with highly confidential information.
