Trademark Paralegal Responsibilities: Supporting senior trademark paralegals; assisting in preparing client communications; assisting in gathering information from clients, commercial trademark databases, web search engines and other tools concerning proposed and existing trademarks; assisting with reviewing client marketing materials; communicating with attorneys throughout the world who represent the firm s clients in trademark prosecution and adversary proceedings; assisting with filing new trademark applications; maintaining trademark registrations before the USPTO; supporting the efforts of the firm s trademark attorneys to plan and implement international registration strategies; and performing database searches for availability of marks and follow up needed regarding same. The candidate must have earned a college Bachelor's degree and have 1+ year of experience as a trademark paralegal. This person will have experience working with other trademark paralegals, is a quick learner, organized, and proficient with the use of electronic databases. Experience with WebTMS and filing with the PTO is preferred. Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
