Contracts & Negotiation Manager The candidate will draft, review/edit, and negotiate strategic and transactional customer agreements, such as (but not limited to): customer sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and customer requests for proposal, etc. Will manage contract clause libraries and contract databases. Advise sales and business teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives; gain buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders on revisions to terms and templates. Manage contract reviews and solicit input from various internal stakeholders; ensure compliance with the contracts approval policy. Lead process improvement efforts to support the achievement of business objectives. Provide training, mentorship, and 2nd-tier support to Contracts Specialists.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate degree. Must have 3+ years of experience with contract drafting/legal work. 3+ years of experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement/management is required. Must have demonstrable experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in a fast-paced environment. English language fluency is required. Experience in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and/or Life Sciences industry is preferred. High-level working knowledge of Microsoft Word and the Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. Experience using Salesforce.com is preferred.
