2019 Steve Fredrickson Fellowship
The candidate must be a law student who has demonstrated commitment to redressing the housing and/or consumer rights of the poor. Fellow will spend 10 weeks this summer at firm’s working on important and exciting advocacy work in the field of housing or other consumer issues. Work with attorneys on ongoing cases and projects that continue to honor Steve Fredrickson. Must have completed at least the first year of law school as of June, 2019. Must have strong communication, research and analytical skills, including excellent writing ability; a demonstrated commitment to social justice advocacy, with specific interest in work that addresses the fulfillment of basic human needs; cultural competence and appreciation for diversity and inclusion, racial equity and access to justice.
