Transactional Paralegal Duties: Assisting attorneys with a wide range of projects including UCC financing statements, retrieval and review of UCC searches, due diligence and post-closing preparation of closing documents. Manage responsibilities which include title commitment and title policy preparation and completion, survey review, forming corporate entities, assisting in the preparation of draft loan and acquisition documents, and ordering UCC searches. Will perform a variety of tasks related to commercial real estate agreements including: updating and maintaining the real estate portfolio, drafting and revising leases, amendments and other related documents and resolving legal inquiries, among other duties.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate preferred. Good computer skills, including strong proficiency in MS Office Suite is required. 5+ years transactional experience and commercial real estate experience. Contracting experience. Experience with legal research and applicable software such as Westlaw. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Experience with Visio, Access and SharePoint preferred. High sense of urgency and ability to complete tasks in a deadline-oriented atmosphere. Willingness to speak up and ask questions. Must possess ability to work to deadlines and effectively handle multiple priorities. Ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly and professionally. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and analytical skills are critical. Ability to work independently with strong tenacity. Strong research, analytical and organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines and to work collaboratively and proactively with internal and external constituents is needed.
