Real Estate Closing Coordinator / Paralegal The candidate coordinates with clients, borrowers and closing agents to prepare files for the purpose of ensuring a timely and legally binding real estate closing transaction. Keeps title, agents, buyers and sellers apprised on all issues that could cause potential delays with closing transactions. Experience with Builder Transactions is preferred. Reports to the Resale Manager. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ensures all required pre-closing components leading to real estate closings are complete. Makes initial contact with agents and buyer attorney. Sends closing instruction to buyer attorney. Requests MLS on in-house closings. Requests relevant closing documentation (i.e., deeds, Power of Attorney). Prepares settlement statements, title documents, and attorney disclosures. Initial review of loan package and executed documents for accuracy. Data entry. Maintain positive client relations. Respond to all parties involved in a timely manner. Should have 5+ years of experience in customer service and real estate transactions or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
