Duties:
- Handle patent prosecution matters across various technology sectors.
- Conduct thorough reviews of patent applications, responding to office actions, and providing technical and legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys and inventors to draft and file patent applications.
- Conduct legal and technical research related to intellectual property matters.
- Stay up to date on the latest developments in intellectual property law and relevant technologies.
- Assist clients in managing their intellectual property portfolios and strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their patent needs and offer tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience.
- Strong technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
- Experience with drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
Certifications:
- Must be a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
