Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for administrative, clerical and organizational support to attorneys and paralegals in the employment and benefits group of the firm legal department. Coordinates travel arrangements, meetings and appointments. Ensures records are accurately organized and retained, including maintaining records via an electronic document management system. Prepares and tracks expense reports. Creates spreadsheets, ad-hoc reports, and types and revises correspondence and documents. Receives incoming telephone calls and inquiries and route appropriately. Manages incoming and outgoing correspondence. Maintains office supplies inventory, placing orders as necessary. Tracks litigation status. Must have High School diploma or GED equivalency. Should have 4 years of administrative assistant experience. Experience in an in-house legal department or private law firmer is preferred. Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is desired. Strong typing skills is a plus.
