Real Estate Lease Specialist Responsibilities: Manage relationship and service levels with landlords. Ensure contract terms are entered into the real estate date base and work directly with landlords if there are discrepancies. Reconcile, code, balance to contract amounts and submit all real estate invoices from the department to accounts payable. Complete and pay rent runs / CAM invoices and ensure that information is accurate across the real estate program. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues, which includes negotiating directly with independent landlords. Efficiently and accurately enter all lease information into system. Interpreting the contract and transposing the information into the real estate database. Common Area Maintenance (CAM) characters. Ensure that all CAM charts billed monthly are accurate and according to lease. Pay CAM invoices monthly after ensuring accuracy. Complete CAM reconciliation for every property on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis dependent upon vendor. Assist Department Head with new real estate transactions by gathering business unit requirements. Miscellaneous special projects such as acquisitions and selling bank owned assets. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Real Estate Management required. 5+ years in lease / landlord collaboration. Understanding of the accounting process including CAM reconciliation. Experience working with multiple landlords. Computer skills including, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Access, accounting systems and lease administration software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Paralegal experience preferred. Attention to detail and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Analytical and organizational skills. Priority setting skills. Self-directed. Ability to work in a fast paced department and/or environment.
