Paralegal / Contracts Administrator The candidate will perform a variety of legal and administrative support of Federation Attorneys. Will manage contract administration by continually updating the contract database, and maintaining permanent records, contract templates, coordinating contract signing as well as termination/renewal procedures, and reviewing standard form agreements to ensure correctness before counsel approval. Coordinate the administrative aspects of the annual conflict of interest process for board members and senior level employees. Create and maintains the legal department calendar of tasks, informing counsel and other personnel of upcoming deadlines. Create, manage and update corporate documents (reports, service marks, minutes, and board resolutions.) associated with U.S. Soccer and its affiliated entities. Coordinate discovery responses, and assists in preparing status reports. Track and coordinates responses to subpoenas and release of information requests in a timely and accurate manner. Assist in preparing materials for U.S. Soccer committees and the Annual General Meeting. Coordinate U.S. Soccer Grievance and Appeals processes as needed. Support Board of Director committee meetings, compliance meetings, and senior administrative meetings by taking, transcribing, and distributing meeting minutes which serve as a permanent record of the proceedings, organize corporate meeting books. Develop and prepare report and correspondence as requested. Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Should have 2+ years of legal assistant or paralegal experience, preferably in a legal environment required. Experience with contracts and contract management is required.
