Senior Fiduciary Officer The candidate will be understanding of moderate to complex trust instruments. Will be determining suitability of discretionary distribution. Ensuring trusts are administered according to terms of document. Understanding and execution of appropriate tax elections Consulting/educating internal teams, grantors and beneficiaries on issues unique to each trust under administration. Ensuring ongoing accuracy of key client information, including, but not limited to, age attainments and client and beneficiary address changes. Evaluating and performing all distributions; payments relevant bills. Ensuring accurate periodic statements and client communications. Interpreting moderate to complex trust instruments including dynastic trusts. Understanding of directed trust structures and laws of key trust jurisdictions (for example, DE, OH, MI, IL, MN, NV, SD). Researching funding information to determine TCO acceptance of the trust; coordination of subsequent funding. Conducting 60 day and annual administrative reviews. Working with Director reviewing client's financial status for recommended tax and investment strategies. Bachelor's degree and JD degree law degree is required. CTFA is preferred. Should have 7 - 10 years of experience in the administration of moderate to highly complex trust structures. Expert knowledge of Trust Code, UPIA and familiarity of trust laws of multiple jurisdictions as enumerated is needed. Previous management/supervision experience is required. Mastery of trust accounting and expertise in fiduciary taxation and fiduciary risk is needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skill is needed.
