Temporary Paralegal The candidate will aid in the preparation of Mutual Fund Registration statements, supplements to prospectuses, and related Securities Act and XBRL filings. Will solely focus on coordinating the implementation of a prospectus management system. Ensure registration statements compliant with SEC requirements. Organize and maintain electronic content filings. Must have an undergraduate Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Should have strong academic record with a preferred GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Paralegal certificate is preferred. Must have 3+ years of prior experience, preferably working with Mutual Funds. Should have strong communication skills both oral and written with strong follow-up. Knowledge of registration statement updates and prospectus content management systems is needed. Should have general understanding of the Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934, and the Investment Company Act of 1940. Should have proficiency in Word, Excel, EDGAR (i.e. SEC electronic filing System). Knowledge of the mutual fund industry and securities laws is needed. Note : This job is for 9-12 Months.
