Legal Assistant/Office Manager The candidate will assist attorneys and paralegals with documents and workflow necessary for the firm to operate efficiently. Prepare legal documents and correspondence. Save documents and emails to Firm Central (our document management system) in accordance with firm policy. Schedule depositions, meetings, and other calendar commitments in Microsoft Outlook. Prepare and send client invoices with enter billable and non-billable time for approved timekeepers. E-filing Court Documents in Texfile and deeds in Erxchange. Organizing and maintaining case files. Answering incoming telephone calls, screening calls, and redirecting callers as necessary. Supporting overall firm administrative needs by assisting team members where needed.
Qualification and Experience
The candidates must have 2-3 years of legal and Family Law experience. Experience using Pro Doc or similar document preparation software. Should have strong communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure and against tight deadlines. Must also possess excellent attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task. Should be confidence and have communication skills. Good computer skills including: using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products, strong typing skills, and proven ability to learn new/updated software programs.
