Assistant Attorney General - Medicaid Fraud Control Unit

The candidate will serve in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). MFCU investigates and prosecutes civil and criminal fraud by providers participating in the Missouri Medicaid program and financial, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse against Medicaid recipients. Prosecute criminal and civil actions. Will work with a team of investigators and auditors from the initial stages of an investigation through trial. Coordinate with prosecutors throughout the state, other executive branch departments, and federal agencies, including HHS-OIG and the US Attorney's Offices in the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. Should have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in criminal law or healthcare-related litigation; have graduated in the top 30% of their law school class; have excellent writing skills; a strong commitment to public service; and an interest in health care law. Must have a license to practice in Missouri.
