Personal Injury Paralegal/Case Manager Responsibilities: Correspond with current and potential clients. Manage client cases. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Record and store client information. Assist the firm with its marketing and growth efforts. Schedule appointments and manage calendar. Politely answer calls in Spanish and English. Drafting legal documents (i.e. pleadings, motions, etc.). Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Regularly check and update the status of client cases. Correspond with insurance adjusters and medical facilities regarding client cases. Handle numerous other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Prior PI case management experience. Familiarity with Personal Injury Law. Attention to detail is an absolute MUST. Excellent attitude, personable and ability to interact with clients. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Computer skills, including having experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Reliable and punctual. Bilingual (Spanish & English). Familiarity with legal research. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish & English). Deadline and detail-oriented. Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to work/think independently and not wait on instructions for every matter is crucial.
