Litigation Paralegal Duties: Courtroom assistance, Trial coordination, Trial Binders (assembly of paper for binders and electronic file). Prepare Page and Lines (pleadings and binders with highlighted transcripts for court). Pre-trial motion preparation and filing and prep for argument in court. Trial Witness Lists (plaintiff and joint). Jury questionnaire coordination, if necessary. Jury instruction assistance. Electronic File organization for trial. Opening / Witness Presentation assistance (PowerPoint experience). Liability Trial Exhibits paper prep for Court (in coordination with RM/KC Team). Case specific Trial Exhibit list preparation and electronic and paper prep of exhibits. Court Reporter – arrange for trial. Document organization for attorney in preparation for corp. rep. and/or expert depositions.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: with experience in handling a high volume of cases from start to finish, including leading up to and through the trial process, for New York, N.Y. office. Candidate with prior asbestos experience is a bonus. Research Skills, Analyzing Information, Legal Administration Skills, Organization, Planning, Self-Development, Deadline-Oriented, Thoroughness, Verbal Communication, PC Proficiency.
