Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will work for a mid-sized Law Firm. Will drafts title insurance claims, perform title curative work (title litigation and transactional), assist mortgage servicers with the title resolution process. Reviews and summarizes legal documents, coordinates factual research and prepares reports on the basis of these findings. Works closely with managing attorney and other related departments within the firm to coordinate efforts on related files.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have at least one(1) year of legal experience. College degree or legal certificate preferred but not required. Must have Title and/or Litigation experience. Basic knowledge of legal practices and procedures with regards to title work. Familiarity with legal and/or mortgage databases. Excellent communication skills. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast pace environment. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
