Associate Contracts Manager/Contracts Manager (non-attorney) The candidate will review, draft and manage commercial agreements and statements of work. Advise business clients on the legal issues and risks, complex agreement structures, approval processes, company policies and procedures. Respond promptly to legal requests from Business Development, Marketing and other clients, summarizing and communicating legal concepts that business people can use. Review advertising, promotional, and marketing materials to provide intellectual property clearance, identify issues with applicable advertising and privacy laws, and vet compliance with company and industry standards. Should have Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Must have 4 years of relevant experience working with commercial contracts. 6 years of relevant experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts is preferred. Experience working as a contracts manager, paralegal or legal assistant is desired. Should have ability to interpret legal documents, negotiate contracts and work with attorneys to complete agreements.
