Duties:

• Draft and prepare legal documents for filing with relevant entities
• Compose pleadings, motions, judgments, and orders
• Manage communication with attorneys, court personnel, and clients concerning cases
• Interview and prepare witnesses for trial
• Appear in court for assigned cases
• Conduct legal research and provide counsel on various family law issues
• Handle all administrative tasks related to case management, such as filing, mailing, and organizing case files

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree
• Active license to practice law in Missouri
• Experience in family law preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Courtroom experience and trial preparation
