Paralegal, Marketing Communications The candidate will join the Legal Team that supports the Communications, Advertising, and Marketing groups. The role will assist the Legal Teamâ€™s attorneys and program managers in a variety of functions. Requires competency in customer focus, change and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing, and results focus. Review, edit, and approve advertising and marketing materials, Monitor compliance and reporting in various marketing-related contexts. Assist attorneys with any competitor disputes, regulatory inquiries, and other adversarial inquiries that may arise. Conduct factual research and data collection as needed; Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
A High School Diploma required. Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved paralegal program preferred. Bachelorâ€™s Degree preferred. Should have ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member, excellent attention to detail, excellent organizational and monitoring/tracking skills, the ability to own and complete multiple and competing tasks within tight deadlines, good verbal and written communication skills, strong customer-oriented and interpersonal skills, a strong desire to take initiative, and the desire to work in a fast-paced and cutting-edge industry. In addition s/he must have 3+ years of experience in a paralegal role, and competency with all Microsoft Office products and Adobe. An interest in and aptitude for consumer protection and advertising law is strongly preferred.
