Paralegal Duties: Assist attorneys with research, drafting documents, review analyze and discovery, preparation of audits, assessment of medical records and court related filings. Trial preparations. Draft memos and review defense invoices for coverage matters. Indexing discovery documents. Drafting of privilege logs. Prepare mediation and arbitration binders with exhibits etc. Electronic Case Filings - Federal and State Courts. Preparation of motions with exhibits/supporting papers.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Paralegal certificate. 5-7 years of strong litigation work experience. Knowledge in Commercial Litigation required; experience in Employment and/or Insurance Coverage is a plus. Experience and Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles. The ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy. The ability to perform legal research. Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Open to change and willing to learn new skills. Ability to follow up on pending issues and see to the end. Ability to meet deadlines. Bill a minimum of 100 hours per month, should exceed this amount.
