Lead, Indirect Category Management The candidate will work with stakeholders to develop strategy and tactics for assigned procurement category initiatives, provide thought leadership; identify, create and implement initiatives to maximize value and ensure ongoing management of supplier contracts and relationships. Will encompass leading a team of Category Managers, development of category strategies and leading supplier selection across multiple categories. Must have Bachelors’ degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Management or other applicable field, and training in procurement. An additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. Must have 18 years of Procurement experience, with 10 years in the engineering and construction industry. 10+ years of experience in supervising procurement staff and/or other disciplines preferred. Significant experience in managing procurement operations on major projects, including drafting and formulating contracts, bidding, negotiating and administering major purchase orders and subcontracts, and the specific procurement functions involved.
