Legal Administrative Assistant The candidate will be responsible for booking travel, maintaining calendar, attorney time entry, follow up calls to clients, electronic form letters and other various duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a minimum of two(2+) plus years of relevant Litigation Legal Secretarial/ Legal Administrative Assistance experience. Applicants should be highly motivated, extremely organized and able to multi-task and communicate clearly. Must have a customer service driven attitude, a professional phone voice and ability to communicate professionally with clients. Should possess an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and word processing techniques. Must have prior experience with Electronic Court Filings (ECF) and be familiar with Louisiana District and State Court systems. Must have knowledge of local and federal filing rules. Must be familiar with various types of pleadings along with postproduction filing requirements. Strong written/oral communication and proofreading skills along with a keen eye for detail while working independently as well as part of a team is necessary.
