Contracts Counsel The candidate requires coordination with various stakeholders and subject matter experts in the legal department, compliance, product marketing, finance, as well as other groups at the firm to help drive transactions to successful completion within the required time frame. Will also maintain and enforce contracting policies including approval procedures for non-standard terms and pricing, assist the sales force with on-going administration of client contracts, advise management on contractual terms and risks, and provide training to sales and other departments on contract issues and negotiation strategies. Should have 5-8 years of experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating software licensing, professional services, SaaS, analytics, and complex commercial agreements for large financial institutions, telecoms, utilities, fintech, and other types of business clients, in a corporate or law firm environment. Should have J.D. degree from an accredited university. Experience selling enterprise software solutions and/or supporting sales teams at a technology company desired. Familiarity of FCRA, GLB, UDAAP, and HIPPA is desirable. Experience with data privacy laws, a plus. Excellent and advanced Microsoft Word skills; proficient in Adobe products, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential. Salesforce.com experience preferred.
