ProfilePrivacy Incident Coordinator The candidate will be responsible for supporting The firm’s Privacy Law Unit and Enterprise Transactions Unit (including the Contract Center of Excellence) and assisting the attorneys in the Privacy Law Unit to provide legal support and manage the data incident response process, including: functioning as primary privacy and security incident response processer, performing initial/immediate triage and risk assessment, and coordinating with, or escalating to privacy and/or security officers as needed. Will be maintaining accurate and complete records of all privacy and security compliance activities. Assembling the data incident response team, preparing agendas, recording minutes and performing follow up from meetings.b Performing initial 50 state and federal regulatory data breach analysis at attorney direction. Assisting in preparing customer and regulatory notice letters. Preparing periodic and adhoc reports from incident response database.Collaborating with attorneys, compliance, information protection and other partners for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving processes and systems to monitor and document the enterprise’s ongoing compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and corporate policies. Supporting incident response function generally, including education and awareness. Tracking privacy and cyber trends in the industry and relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal requirements and guidelines. Providing support to the Contract Center of Excellence including assistance with contracts at the direction of an attorney. Bachelor's degree, Paralegal or Project Management certification or equivalent experience is essential. Must have knowledge of basic security principles and privacy regulations, and experience working with legal and technology teams. Should have strong organization skills and excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of insurance industry is helpful. Strong analytical and critical thinking skill is preferred. Sound judgment and problem solving skill is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skill is preferred.
