Short Hills office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent litigation associate attorney with 1-3 years of AmLaw 100 law firm or in-house patent litigation experience. The candidate will work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Will draft pleadings; conduct legal research; participate in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages issues; take depositions and expert discovery; research and draft dispositive and discovery motions and claim construction briefings; and participate in pre-trial and trial activities. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner. Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products. Successfully meet deadlines and expectations, and perform work duties as required. Foster positive work relationships. Comply with all firm policies and practices. Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed. Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned. Should preferably have electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, life science, or comparable backgrounds with prior industry experience. Must be Admitted to practice in New Jersey.
