ProfileSenior Associate - Education Sector Responsibilities : The candidate will maintain projects, and regularly review these against established milestones and targets. Follow up on action items, by tracking progress against deadlines. Work with Finance on reporting for account(s), and actively maintain sales pipelines in the Status Tracking and Reporting System (InterAction) database. Create and manage a project start-up process (documentation, filing, status updates, etc.). This will require daily communications with Partners in the Education Practice along with other stakeholders. Key areas of project management include: the engagement lifecycle, coordination with the firm independence team and project managing all aspects of the initiation of cases. Provide project/program management on less complex projects, and help with larger projects. Respond to the needs of managers, sponsors and stakeholders, escalating issues to the project manager/supervisor/sponsor as appropriate. Identify alternative approaches. Manage projects, creating and implementing timelines for project deliverables. Assign and follow-up on tasks, and manage sponsor/customer expectations. Complete industry and competitive analysis. Understand the firm's business, organizational structure and operations. Use sound judgment and consistency in measuring results.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Must have around 2 years of related job experience. Paralegal or legal services experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to details. Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines. English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication. Strong analytical skills, to grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems and issues. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of project management practices and tools. Demonstrated interest in education is preferred.
